This past Wednesday, members of ASME UD gathered to express their nerdy love of all things Pi. On the evening of March 14th–Pi Day–they gathered in the Spencer Lab Matrix (Room 133b) and began to program Raspberry Pis and bake apple cranberry pie crisps. Truly, it was a well-rounded evening.

Build-A-Thon 2018 – Rising to the Challenge
At the E-Week Build-A-Thon this past Wednesday, teams competed in three teamwork and competitive design challenges that are easy to learn, but hard to master, and had a great time doing it. These design challenges were Balloon Towers hosted by NSBE, Space Sculptures hosted by ASME, Lifting Prosthesis hosted by MESS as shown in the video above. Broomball 2018 – We All Had an Icy Good Time
E-Week Broomball was a success once again this year. The event was hosted at the Gold Ice Arena on campus and held over 100 students slipping around on the ice. Everything from sweatpants to banana suits were out on display. Some took the slow and steady approach to not slip on the ice, and others used the ice to their advantage to slide to the ball faster.
