Robots in Review

The entire premise of the robot design competition was to essentially design a robot that can throw a tennis ball, lift a weight, run a certain distance, hit a ball, and climb 3 stairs. If that wasn’t hard enough, the size limitation certainly made it harder. The robot had fit inside a 50x50x50 cm box. Once a background has been established, the designing process can begin.

E-Fest East Recap

This past Earth Day Weekend, a delegation of seven ASME UD students braved the seemingly never-ending rain in Tennessee to represent the University of Delaware at the 1st annual ASME Engineering Festival East! We drove hard through the night, and toiled even harder the next to get our Henbot in shape for the Robot Pentathlon Student Design Competition against 80 other registered teams from around the country.
