Board of Trustees
According to the Charter of the University of Delaware (UD), “the Board of Trustees shall have the entire control and management of the affairs of the University.” The Board is composed of 28 members and four ex-officio members, with eight members selected by the governor, and twenty members elected by the board itself. In 2018, women held 11 of the 32 positions, or 31% of the Board.
Leadership Positions
A review of the UD Administrative Organizational Chart shows that women continue to be under-represented in leadership positions, at about 30% representation.
