In A Nut Shell – If you think you can sell ice to Eskimos, then this summer job is for you. We are on a mission to increase fresh produce consumption across North America and need like-minded people to join our team to promote our message. With a simple message of “Do you know where your produce comes from and how it is grown?” as the icebreaker, the icing on the cake is showing them how we grow at NatureFresh™ Farms. Standing in front of the Greenhouse Education Center is an awesome experience that helps change people’s perceptions of how greenhouse produce is grown. Training – Apply what you have learned in school to real life situations; get the practical experience you are looking for to build your skillset. We will train you in our state of the art greenhouse facilities in Ontario & Ohio to prepare you for your summer adventure!

Education – Currently enrolled or recently graduated from an accredited College or University in USA/Canada studying in the fields of Agriculture, Sustainable Agriculture, Agri-Science, Agri-Business, Marketing Communications or related field of study.

Position Requirements – An outgoing individual who can engage with the public to educate them about the value & how greenhouse vegetables are grown; must be a team player that can also work autonomously; strong communication & interpersonal skills with the ability to articulate an idea is essential; socially connected and digitally savvy with an ability to create conversation; strong MS Office & social media skills with previous customer service employment experience is an asset.

Primary Function – An integral member of the Greenhouse Education Center (GEC) Street Team that assists with the execution of Event Day Operations to promote the GEC to the general community; to encourage people to eat more fresh produce; engages with retail store employees/customers & general consumers to educate them on how greenhouse vegetables are grown.
