Tret Fure

Tret FureThis week on The Music Room, we chatted with folk artist Tret Fure. Fure is a well-accomplished musician, with nearly 50 years of experience in the business. Fure uses life experiences to write her songs, whether they are her experiences or not. For example, her inspiration for “Closer to My Sons” and “Six Beers” came from a magazine article and a movie scene, respectively. Additionally, Fure shared with us her feelings about the changing landscape of the music industry, and the importance of becoming a unionized musician.

Fure will be playing at Kennett Flash in Kennett Square, PA on Saturday, April 29th, 2017 at 8pm.
