Aditi Chaturvedi is a first-year doctoral candidate in Energy and Environmental Policy at the Biden School of Public Policy & Administration, University of Delaware. After receiving a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering from Dayalbagh Educational Institute and a Master of Technology in Renewable Energy Engineering from the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, she worked at the Climate Change Resilience and Energy Unit of the United Nations Development Program (New Delhi) and conducted policy research on Monitoring and Evaluation Portals, Green and Blue Hydrogen Pathways, Low Carbon Technologies in Public Sector Utilities, and Solar Technology penetration in rural India. As a Young Systems Scientist Awardee of the Systems Society of India, she has used public domain data on Ayurveda and cottage industries, organic farming, and vocational skilling to analyze degrees of sustainable lifestyle practices offered by indigenous communities and the potential for large-scale implementation of best practices. She has also worked on several clean energy projects, such as improving the efficiency of solar radiation prediction models using localized and alternative measurement parameters and reaction control mechanisms in fuel cells. She also carried out a qualitative and quantitative analysis of the global submissions made to the member state consultations on the UN Global Digital Compact as part of the Consulting Practicum on the Global Digital Compact at the Center for Global Affairs, New York University, for the UN Secretary General’s Envoy of Technology Office and the United Nations Foundation. Her research interest includes Clean Energy Transition, Renewable Energy Policy, Sustainability Indicators, Environmental Justice, Multi-species Justice, and Climate Finance. She is also a hobbyist illustrator and an amateur rock hound.”.
