Project Assistant, Island Policy Lab

Atoofa Zainab is a first year PhD student in the Energy and Environmental policy program at the University of Delaware. She grew up in Pakistan and completed her Masters in Energy Systems Engineering from National University of Sciences and Technology, Islamabad in 2018. During her graduate research, she was a research exchange scholar at Arizona State University and undertook research in the energy policy field. She used the Technological Innovation Systems approach to identify and analyzed barriers in the diffusion of bio digestion technology. She also have a professional work experience in monitoring and evaluation of development programs and was mainly involved in project management and conducting qualitative research. Atoofa’s research interests lie primarily in the energy transition, climate change mitigation and adaptation.
