This past Saturday morning, EWB-UD members participated alongside other local organizations in Newark’s annual Fall Community Cleanup. Volunteers picked up litter in their designated area and stored it in trash bags for the City of Newark to dispose of at a later time.The group was in charge of cleaning up the area along Elkton Road from the Newark Municipal Building heading south to the Christiana River. With this work, garbage pollution in the area was reduced, especially around the Christiana River, and the appearance of the City of Newark was improved. Thank you to all those that came out and helped clean up our city!
