EWB-UD was able to aid the community of San Jose, Guatemala by building a bridge over a river that flooded during their rainy season, making it impossible for villagers to cross. The villagers needed to be able to travel over the river year-round to tend to crops. The partnership with San Jose began in 2009 and concluded in 2014.
