Greetings from the Malawi Team and welcome to our travel blog!

In less than 24 hours we will en route to Mphero Malawi, taking off into over 18 hours of travel filled with countless movies, music, books, and Benadryl PM. Tomorrow at 11:15AM, 6 of our 7-member travel team will be departing from John F. Kennedy International Airport. We are traveling with 4 students: Megan, Meredith, Rachel and me, as well as, our faculty mentor, Curt, one professional mentor, Bill and our second professional mentor, Charlie, will meet us later in the week.
After two assessment trips and countless hours put in by EWB-UD members, our travel team is very excited to see this project come to fruition. During our 17 days in Malawi we will be working with a local drilling company to implement a borehole well and hand pump in the village of Mphero!
While we are in country we will be posting live blog updates about our time in Malawi. So stay tuned and check back soon to learn more about journey in Mphero.
