Welcome to the end of 2022 as we wrap up a busy year of 4-H activities in our clubs and programs across Delaware! As we continue to emerge from these last two challenging years, we felt it important to gather 4-H volunteers for a celebration of thanks and renewal at our 2023 Delaware 4-H State Leader Forum, being held at the Delaware State Fairgrounds in the New Castle Building on Saturday, January 21, 2023 from 9:00am-1:00pm.
As opposed to past leader forums, which are full day sessions with curricular content and learning workshops, this year’s event will be a relaxed celebration meant to reconnect with fellow leaders from throughout the state, in order to find out what’s new in the Delaware 4-H Office and plan for the spring and summer months which are already packed with 4-H events.
A tentative schedule for the day is listed here:
9:00am-9:30am: Registration and Continental Breakfast
9:30am-10:00am: Welcoming Remarks and Updates from Governor John Carney, Dr. Michele Rodgers and Dr. Ernie López
10:00am-10:45am: Youth/Adult Panel with Question and Answer Period on Embracing Our Youth Post Covid-19
11:00am-11:45am: All Attendee Workshop on Adults Caring for One Another
Noon: Lunch and Fellowship
(To-Go Lunches will be Available)
Registration is open now through Monday, January 16
