Public Speaking Contest – October 29, 2019 – Brandywine Library
4-Hers kept things lively by engaging the judges with a variety of interesting topics. A 4-Her standing at a podium, presenting or speaking before a group or audience is an important life skill to develop. Effective communication and public speaking skills are vital to tomorrow’s leaders. Cloverbuds, ages 5-7, can start with something as simple as leading the pledge or reciting a poem. Seniors are required to do a 5-7 minute speech.
