Google is about to make an update to it’s search algorithm on April 21, 2015. CS&S and put together some tips to help ensure you meet the requirements.

Starting April 21, Google will be expanding it’s use of mobile-friendliness as a ranking signal. This change will affect mobile searches in all languages worldwide and will have a significant impact in our search results.

Steps to ensure your site follows the new guidelines.

1. Run your website through Google’s Mobile-Friendly Test page. (According to Google, the test is not without its flaws.)

2. Search for your site at google.com from your mobile device. If your SERP entry displays the “mobile friendly” label then your website has passed the test.

3. Convert your website to a responsive, mobile friendly theme (UD recommends using either DiviUD or Parabola).

See Divi’s Features and Demo.
