Creating a Guest Account

Access to WordPress is typically limited to faculty, staff, and students. Guest access can be granted by filling out the form at Guest Account Services and having the guest create a special account with UD. For more information on the requirements, please visit the Knowledgebase Article.

To add a guest, log in to the Guest Account Services page.

Once the information has been entered, you will see this:

Your guest will receive an email to create their account. It should look like this:

They will complete information on their end to create an account. It typically takes 24-48 hours for the system to recognize their new account before they can log in to WordPress.

When your guest has set up their account, your view in Guest Account Services will look like this:

After 24-48 hours, your guest will be recognized by the WordPress system. Like all WordPress users, they will need to log in to to create an account that you can add to your site. Once they have logged in, you will be able to add them to your site.
