It was a beautiful day this evening on the wooded banks of the Brandywine River, one that just takes you back in time to another era. On our visit to the early 1800’s, we encountered a great variety of authentically restored machinery run using water-power. Seeing belt-driven machine shop staples operate was awesome, and watching the water turbine that powered them start up only added to the excitement. We even got to see a giant rotary grinder, and finished out our live demonstrations with a bang!
