When we arrived at the competition, after a late night of working on the bot, an early morning wake-up, and a four-hour drive, we were already quite tired, but we were looking forward to a fun day filled with awesome robots and friendly competition. We hadn’t had too much time to prepare for this competition, but we had our robot and were ready to do our best.

E-Fest East: Saturday Reflections
ASME UD kicked off our participation in the ASME E-Fest East 2018 (held at Penn State this year) with a roaring start, with a delegation eleven members strong proudly representing the University of Delaware. Rapid Bridge Replacement
This past Wednesday, professional engineers crowded into the Center for Composite Materials to learn more about rapid bridge replacement techniques. Though initially snowed out and rescheduled two weeks latter, we had a great turnout just the same.
From Pi to Pie
This past Wednesday, members of ASME UD gathered to express their nerdy love of all things Pi. On the evening of March 14th–Pi Day–they gathered in the Spencer Lab Matrix (Room 133b) and began to program Raspberry Pis and bake apple cranberry pie crisps. Truly, it was a well-rounded evening.
