Earlier today, ASME UD took our ballista to Rowan University to compete against other universities (and a few high schools); this year’s theme was alien invaders. After some fierce competition and on the spot problem solving, the Fighting Blue Hens managed eek out a second place finish in the ballista category. Ryan G. and Sierra also managed to clinch second place in the pumpkin carving contest. Thank you to all who helped build & test our ballista!
In case you were not already aware, ASME UD will be hosting a Professional Engineer certification information panel this Wednesday (10/14/2015) at 8:00 PM. Come early (at 7:30) for light refreshments in the Trabant Lounge, or stay after to ask the panelists more questions! All are welcome, so bring your friends.

Thank you to everyone who came out to the Mechanical Engineering Student Squad Pizza & Legos Night! Though the pizza ran out fast, there were still plenty of Legos to tinker with to you heart’s content.
The Mechanical Engineering Student Squad (Website) will be hosting a Pizza & Legos night in the Spencer Pit (134) on Monday October 5th from 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM. Come to enjoy a break from your studies to socialize with your fellow engineers while eating Free Pizza and releasing your creativity by building with Legos!
