The Department of Black American Studies hopes that you will be able to attend our “Brown Bag” Lecture Series for fall semester 2010.
Our next event of the series will be held this Monday, November 8, from 12:15-1:10pm, in room 206 of the Trabant University Center. Our guest speaker will be Brian C. Starks, Instructor in the Center for Drug and Alcohol Studies at University of Delaware. He will discuss, “A Bail of Two Cities: Atlanta v. Philadelphia. The First Phase of the Criminal Court Process.”
The “Brown Bag” Lecture Series is free and open to the public. Each lecture is about 30 minutes and is followed by open discussion. Participants are welcomed to bring their lunch and enjoy this vibrant and stimulating exchange of ideas.
