Michael Eric Dyson, a renowned scholar on the faculty of Georgetown University, will speak on African American leadership in the 21st century during a presentation at 7 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 29, in the Multipurpose Rooms of the Trabant University Center.
The event, sponsored by the Cultural Programming Advisory Board, is free and open to the public.
Dyson is a renowned scholar, ordained Baptist minister and public intellectual.
His innovative scholarship focuses on race, class, religion, popular culture and contemporary issues in the African American community.
