Operator Training

1. Protein operators need to complete CHEM650 which is offered in the fall. Small molecule operators need to complete CHEM850-010 which is offered in the spring. Post doctoral fellows with equivalent coursework can proceed to Step 2.
2. Complete EHS Bioraft courses:
   • XRAY Device Safety Training
   • Compressed Gas and Gas Cylinder Safety
3. Request a radiation dosimeter from W. Fendt, Radiation and Laser Safety Officer, wfendt@udel.edu.
4. Complete liquid nitrogen training with Dr. F. Cruz, Analytical and Physical Chemistry Laboratory Manager, cruzf@udel.edu.
5. Complete practical data collection training with me, gpyap@udel.edu.
