Today the team opened up the season at the Bottle and Cork 5k! We managed to avoid the worst of the rain, and saw some speedy times put down. Full results are available online here.

Brandon Quanci was the overall top finisher, coming in at 16:27.3. Behind him was Mike Durkin, whose time was 16:28.9. Brendan Jones was the 3rd to cross the finish line, and was followed immediately by Evan Driscoll. Jones’ gun time was 17:42.5 and Driscoll’s was 17:42.8. To round out the top 5, freshman Paul Filipow was 5th to finish in 18:03.3.

For the women, Emily Magoon was the top finisher overall in 20:41.7. Freshman Allison Einig came next in 21:00.07, and then Elise Laframboise, Emily Hansell, and Abby Kaye finished together, running times of 21:06.0, 21:07.3, and 21:07.5, respectively.
