UDance 2016

Every day, 46 children are told that they have cancer. The University of Delaware’s UDance Dance Marathon raises money and awareness for the Andrew McDonough B+ (Be Positive) Foundation to change this statistic. The UD XC/Track & Field team participated in UDance on Sunday, March 13, 2016 and danced for 12 hours straight to raise awareness and funds for childhood cancer and to inspire others to Live Like Andrew! Our team is inspired by our B+ Hero, Maggie, who is 6 years old and was diagnosed with leukemia.

Our team raised $11,441 for UDance and contributed to UDance’s grand total of $1.7 million! Maggie had a blast at the event tonight, and we managed to beat our total from last year. Thank you to everyone on the XCTF UDance team who made this possible, especially to Brodge Hanna and Collin LeNoir for serving as UDance Chairs.

Thanks to everyone who donated!
