Oct. 20: The documentary “Hearts of Glass” tells the story of Vertical Harvest, an ambitious business that combines high-tech, local food production and employment for people with disabilities. UD will host a film screening (available Oct. 15 to 20) and panel discussion (Oct. 20 at 7 p.m.) of this interdisciplinary endeavor. The panel includes a hydroponics faculty, social entrepreneur, the documentary’s filmmaker and employees of Vertical Harvest.
