The Plastino Scholar awards were established in 2007 by a generous gift from David A. Plastino, a UD alumnus. The awards support self-designed, off-campus learning experiences that enrich the lives of the recipients and others who are impacted by their projects. Plastino awards are competitive, and Plastino Scholars are among UD’s most talented, promising, and imaginative students. For the current academic year, Plastino Scholar applications are due on December 11, 2015. An interest meeting will be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at 5:00 PM in room 115 Gore Hall.
