What makes YOU different from all of the other people graduating with your major?
Stacked up against everybody else, you need something that will set you apart. A minor can do that by adding breadth to your undergraduate education and showing an employer or grad school that you went beyond the basics of your major. You can choose minors in your own college or in another, and sometimes you can use courses in your major to fulfill some of the requirements of a minor.
