At NERIC 2023 we are excited to offer 2 poster session receptions:
Wednesday 4-6pm and Thursday evening 4:30-6:30pm
Below is some important information about poster sessions, abstract submission, poster presentation opportunities, poster sizing, deadlines and more!
We welcome four types of poster presentations at NERIC:
1.) Data Science Researchers, regardless of funding source
2.) Students at any level from undergraduate through post doctoral trainees
3.) Investigators supported by any IDeA funding mechanism (e.g. INBRE and CTR Pilot Investigators, COBRE target/pilot investigators)
4.) Core Facilities
If you are interested in presenting a poster at NERIC2023, feel free to indicate that on the registration payment form.
All registered participants will receive a Detailed Conference Survey where they can indicate they wish to submit abstract information. The information will be collected as a part of the survey, emailed to all participants.
Below is the information that we will collect on the form:
Poster Title
Poster Authors (including institutional affiliations)
Abstract (300 words)
Abstracts are due August 1st**.
*Abstracts submitted after August 1st will not be considered for awards, but can still be presented at NERIC2023.
**Note: Registration closes July 28th, but August 1st is the deadline for abstract submissions to be considered for awards.
Awards will be given during the meeting for abstracts focused on Clinical or Translational Research and for student presenters. Pre-selected awardees will be invited to present a short, 2-minute elevator pitch-style presentation of their work at the poster sessions. Information regarding poster session assignments and presentation selections will be sent on Friday August 11th.
Poster Sizing Requirements:
Please plan to bring a printed poster to display during NERIC2023.
Recommended Poster Dimensions: 34in x 46in, horizontal or vertical format
Our poster stands are 4ft x 6ft, so your poster must fit on this. If you aren’t sure if your poster will meet this size, please reach out to neric2023@udel.edu
