Vaughn Chambers received his B.S. in Engineering with concentrations in Mechanical and Biomedical from Messiah College and his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Delaware, focused on modeling the brain’s involvement in inter-leg coordination during walking. CV

Chrysostomos Karakasis received his Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) in Greece, in 2019. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering focused on developing controllers for humanoids and lower-limb prostheses to achieve locomotion over compliant surfaces. CV

Bradley Hobbs received his B.S. in Mechatronics Engineering from Middle Tennessee State University. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering focused on modeling post-stroke hemiparetic gait for improved robot-assisted neuro-rehabilitation

Jesus Orozco received his B.S. and M.Eng. in Aerospace Engineering from Texas A&M University. He also worked in the Flight Dynamics Facility at the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center in support of Launch Vehicles, Human Space Flight, and various on-orbit spacecraft. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering focused on electroencephalographic feedback on subject engagement in infants with the use of a robotic swarm.

Stergios E. Bachoumas received his Diploma in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) in 2019. He also received his M.Sc. in Autonomous Systems and Robotics from NTUA in 2022. His research is focused on creating multimodal interfaces for the interactions between human operators and swarms of robots.

Shubham S. Kumbhar received his dual degree (B.Tech. + M.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay) in India, in 2022. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering focused on developing control frameworks for physical human-humanoid collaboration.

Chika Charles Wilfred received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with a focus in Design and Manufacturing from Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka (Unizik) in Nigeria. He is pursuing a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Delaware and is anticipated to graduate in May 2025.

Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology (SIST Chennai) in India. He is
currently pursuing a master’s degree in Robotics from the University of Delaware and

Jensen Gaither is currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Delaware with an anticipated graduation year of 2024. His research focuses on creating a new variable stiffness treadmill for experimentation with human gait patterns over variable terrain.
