Dynamic and Functional Fibers

Thrust Area 4:  Dynamic and Functional Fibers Inspired by the ECM

Research Thurst Area 4

Overarching Goals

The extracellular matrix is able to control biological properties by adaptively changing mechanics, chemistry, and morphology. We aim to make synthetic materials that can accomplish all of these goals.
