This blog is a collaborative digital humanities outreach project written by the History of American Civilization Program Ph.D. students in the Department of History at the University of Delaware.

The “Am Civ” Program is a plan for study within the Department of History doctoral program. Established in 1979, the Program trains advanced students for scholarly careers in both the academy and in public humanities including museums, historic preservation, cultural agencies, and other related organizations. Visit our blog often to read about and comment on our interdisciplinary, material culture-oriented outreach, teaching, writing, and research.
