The focus of our group is the study of advanced composite materials and fuel cells. We study them at the nano, micro, and macro-level as they are formed into useful products and address the pertinent physics and incorporate it into numerical simulations for process and product design for composite materials. Dr. Suresh G. Advani is the Unidel Pierre S. du Pont Chair of Engineering and Professor of Mechanical Engineering  at the University of Delaware. He has graduated 38 Ph.D. students and 46 Masters students and has published over 400 journal articles and written or edited 6 books.
