The mission of the University of Delaware and the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee (USOPC) Specific Training in Basketball (ICAB) is to provide national-level coaches and those responsible for the development of the sport in their country with an opportunity to enrich their basketball coaching skills and proficiencies and to expose them to the U.S. intercollegiate

The sixth-month program includes a four-month virtual module followed by a 23-day apprenticeship experience with a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I men’s and or women’s basketball program that will allow for the candidates to shadow, observe and interact with the coaching staff of that program.
