The mission of the University of Delaware and USOC Specific Training in Basketball (ICAB) is to provide national level coaches and those responsible for the development of the sport in their country with an opportunity to enrich their basketball coaching skills and proficiencies and to expose them to the U.S. intercollegiate basketball environment.

The 35-day program includes lectures and discussions and an extended apprenticeship with a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I men’s and
or women’s basketball program that will allow for the candidate to shadow, observe and interact with the coaching staff of that program. A NCAA Division I basketball program is the highest level of competitive amateur basketball in the United States.
