My thesis research used biostratigraphy as a tool to better fit the Vincentown, Manasquan, and Shark River Formations into the regional framework of the Paleocene and Eocene Coastal Plain stratigraphy. Foraminifera were identified to analyze changes in foraminiferal biozonation and paleo water-depths along a dip-transect across Delaware.
