Refugia’s Summer 2025 Internship is live and now accepting applications.
This internship offers a unique opportunity for those seeking to immerse themselves in real-world ecological landscape design-build and stewardship with an award-winning, mission-driven firm.
This is primarily a field focused internship working daily alongside our excellent stewardship team on general land management at new and established projects with a diversity of scale, complexity and setting. Weekly rotation through the Design, Nursery, Sales and Install teams offer interns a behind-the-scenes look at how different elements of the company collaborate through the design-build of a project.

This is a full-time paid 3 month internship between May-August with flexible start/end date; open to all BLA, BSLA, MLA, BS, BHort, MHort grads and those with an academic background in forestry, ecology, arboriculture related field.
