Employment Opportunities – CTR Changing Lives

Chesapeake Therapeutic Riding, Inc. (CTR) is seeking an experienced equine professional to join our dynamic team as a full-time Volunteer/Program Manager. The position will have two facets:  1. overseeing the scheduling of and training of volunteers for their participation in our Adaptive (Therapeutic) Riding Lessons and Unmounted Programming, and 2. working with the Program Director to envision new programs, and train and schedule staff to support existing programs. The Volunteer/Program Manager will be sharing responsibility for participating in programs that operate during the day, evenings, and/or weekends. This position will be responsible for providing onsite support as needed as a Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor or Instructor-in-Training as required by the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International (PATH). Reporting to the Senior Management Team, the Volunteer/Program Manager should be forward-thinking regarding how CTR can recruit, train, and retain skilled volunteers; and forward-thinking about how CTR can support and grow programming.
