The UDSAAs are a group of undergraduate students selected for their outstanding achievements and leadership on campus. Ambassadors:
- Encourage school spirit through participation in UD Bucket List and events like Homecoming Spirit Day, I Heart UD Day
- Foster connections among alumni and students
- Support the Office of Development and Alumni Relations (DAR)
- Serve as advisory members to the University community and the UD Alumni Association
- Educate peers on the importance of philanthropy and its impact at UD
- Aspire to active alumni engagement after graduation
Potential UD Student Alumni Ambassadors should possess:
- Strong communication skills
- Reliability and dependability
- Patience, tact, flexibility, and diplomacy
- Overwhelming pride in the University of Delaware
- Demonstrated leadership skills and experience
- Interested in educating peers on philanthropy
Expectations
UD Student Alumni Ambassadors are expected to:
- Attend meetings 2x per month during the fall and spring semesters.
- Assist with the planning and execution of UDSAA projects throughout the year.
- Volunteer and assist with events and programs for a minimum of 20 hours per semester.

Qualifications
The minimum qualifications to serve as UD Student Alumni Ambassador are as follows:
- Undergraduate status at the University of Delaware.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.50.
- Good disciplinary standing with the Office of Student Conduct. By completing this application, you are giving permission to contact the Office of Student Conduct to review your judicial record.
OPTIONAL: Attend a UDSAA Information Session (dates coming soon) and submit a resume
Selection Process and Timeline for Seniors:
-Seniors must be in SAA for a full year in order to receive the benefits. To ensure this all Senior applications are due ASAP. Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis with interviews being scheduled once applications are received.
Selection Process and Timeline for Freshmen, Sophomores and Juniors
August – SAA Application launches
October 15th – SAA Application closes
October through November – 30 minute interviews
November 17th – Decisions Released
December 5th – First meeting with new members
