BUEC 101, Career Exploration & Professional Development is an online one-credit Career Planning and Exploration course open to all majors and all class years that will take place during the first four weeks of summer session beginning on June 6th. The class will meet synchronously online on Tuesdays at 4pm. It’s a great way to gain a credit and work on some career prep/exploration. It is a good professional development course for students! BUEC 101 – CAREER EXPLORATION & PROF DEV
Gain insight into the career planning process while researching and being exposed to different career paths. Students will learn how to balance career and personal life when making career decisions, become skilled in the use of career information resources, understand the nature of the changing labor market, and acquire job searching skills. Outside learning, class discussions, skill development tasks, weekly journals and written assignments are designed to help students apply their insights to on-going career development.
