At TractorJoe, we understand the value and advantages that come from getting an education. We also like to help those that need a little boost in order to pursue and enrich their “field” of knowledge. Tuition, housing, books and supplies have all risen in cost and make studying agricultural programs at a college or university harder and harder every year.

This year, we’re helping a little by offering an annual $1,000 scholarship to individuals attending or planning to attend an agricultural college or graduate school.

In order to apply, the applicants must submit a 500 to 1,000 word essay on the following subject: “Life of a Farmer”

We will choose 5 finalists and post their essays on our social media and blog pages.

The finalists will be responsible for promoting their entries on their respective social media networks – the finalist with the most Facebook Likes on their essay page will win and the scholarship amount will be paid directly to him.

In order to participate, you must be either enrolled or planning on attending a college or graduate program in agricultural studies. Essays must be received by December 31st, 2016 and should be sent to ra@tractorjoe.com.
