Another phishing scam using a PDF file has been reported. This one uses the name of the new President of the University of Delaware to hook unsuspecting members of the UD community:

Email allegedly from Dennis Assanis

You’re supposed to be so excited that President Assanis has sent you a file that you’ll click the link and provide your login credentials to “view and access” the document–really so the scammer can steal your credentials. This email also contains enough grammar, capitalization, and punctuation errors that you should be suspicious.

Remember, when you receive unexpected attachments, contact the alleged sender using published contact information before you click the link. If you see this message, delete it.
