By completing your Security Awareness Education, you are helping UD reduce the risk of data breaches, malware infections, phishing attempts, and other malicious activities. This knowledge and skills will help you keep your data and UD’s data safe.
Like last year, this year’s Security Awareness training has two parts:
- An interactive, 30-minute video that educates users about cybersecurity threats and how to recognize and avoid them. The video may be viewed all at once or in short segments of a minute or two each. Completion of this education will enter you into the drawing for prizes at the end of the fiscal year.
- Season 2 of Restricted Intelligence, the light and fun (and still optional) Security Awareness video series. Season 2 episode 1 was released on September 5, 2023. A new episode will be released approximately each month.
If you are required to take the Security Awareness education curriculum, you will have received an email on July 5th indicating you were enrolled in the 2023 Secure UD Training, along with instructions on how to access it. You should have also received an email notification on Sept 5th that a new episode of “Restricted Intelligence” is available. Once you finish the training, a certificate of completion will be available for you to download in your Knowbe4 console.
Secure UD Training Completion 2022
We are pleased to report that over 40% of enrolled users completed the Secure UD education last fiscal year. This percent completion represents a significant improvement from the 21% completion rate the prior year (2021). Keep up the good work, Blue Hens!
