As Member-At-Large of the Pride Caucus, Em Rowe serves as a voting member of the board and contributes to caucus projects and committees. Em arrived at UD as a grad student in Sociology in 2013. Their graduate work in sociology investigated the ways that high school students use Gender-Sexuality Alliances to navigate their identities. Em was hired as a full-time Academic Advisor in the College of Arts and Sciences in 2019, and they occasionally instruct introductory Sociology courses on campus. In their free time, Em enjoys throwing tennis balls for their dog Pierogi, playing Animal Crossing (or other video games), exploring craft breweries with friends, and singing 90’s country songs at karaoke
