Recognition
Diagnosis from Campodonico, 2017: Eumetope (~frons) completely and coarsely bicarinate and devoid of sensorial pits; pygofer not elongate, with caudally projected armature of diaphragm; genital styles sigmoidal with tips apically convergent; segment X without processes.
Campodonico speculated that this taxon is most closely related to Neodelphax, which seems perfectly reasonable.
