Distribution
North America, especially east, and Mexico.
Recognized species
There are eight species in the genus, all except the type species were removed from Delphacodes.

Economic Importance:
Limited.
Recognition
Pale bodied, carinae concolorous with body; vertex narrow and slightly projecting; male genitalia with armature of diaphragm caudally expanded; parameres pediform with large basal angles; suspensorium conspicuous, flattened and elongate; segment 10 with one or two pair of processes.
