Email messages with the subject line “New Message,” purportedly from the University, are hitting campus email addresses today, Aug. 2. These email messages are phishing attempts and should be deleted.
The message looks similar to the following:

Sent: Friday, August 02, 2013 1:11 PM
Subject: New Message
Dear Member,
You Have 1 New Message
