An integral part of the Self-Study process is to gather input from the University community.  Opportunities for involvement will be posted on UDaily and on this page of Middle States Accreditation Self-Study website.

Nov. 2, 2021: Faculty and Staff Town Halls – Accreditation Review

On Nov. 2, the Middle States External Review Team will host virtual open meetings for conversations about the University and the self-study report. The final self-study report is available.

Sept. 17, 2021: Final Self Study Report Submitted
The Steering Committee submitted the Final Self Study Report to Middle States.

April 26, 2021: UD Accreditation Committee Seeks Input
Input requested on self-study document, town halls scheduled May 5, 6. Read more on UDaily.

October 2020: Middle States Self-Study Timeline Extended
MSCHE has confirmed that UD’s external site review is postponed until the fall of 2021. Read more on UDaily.

May 4, 2020: Middle States Self-Study Feedback Sought
The campus community is now invited to provide feedback on the draft self-study, both through online submissions and at Town Halls scheduled for May 8, 15 and 19. Read more on UDaily.

April 2, 2020: Revised Timeline for UD’s Self-Study
Given the unprecedented changes to UD brought by the COVID-19 pandemic, the release of the draft self-study document is now delayed until April 30. Associated town halls will be rescheduled for May and June.

April 12, 2019: MSCHE Campus Visit
Hilda Colón Plumey, MSCHE Vice-President and Institutional Liaison will visit the University to meet with President Assanis, the Middle States Steering Committee and other UD leaders to talk about the accreditation process. She will hold an open meeting for UD faculty, staff and students from 1:30-3 p.m. in 115 Purnell Hall to discuss MSCHE expectations and the accreditation process. March 22, 2019: Announcing the Self-Study
The University of Delaware is beginning the self-study process in preparation for its accreditation review by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE). The self-study will take place over the next 18 months with the external review team’s site visit in spring 2021. Read more on UDaily.
