Thesis Topic/Title: Titanium Containing Zeolites for Glucose Isomerization
Thesis Description: I am looking at the isomerization of glucose to fructose over titanium containing zeolites. This reaction is of interest because compared to glucose, fructose is easier to convert to hydroxymethylfurfural (HMF), a precursor for fuels and chemicals.
