Thesis Topic/Title: Active Site Investigation of Ethane Dehydrogenation on Zinc-Containing Zeolites
Thesis Description: Ethane has become an economical feedstock due to the recent exploitation of shale gas. The aim of this project is to understand the active site and reaction mechanism of ethane dehydrogenation on zinc containing zeolites. We believe the result would provide insight on designing more effective zeolite catalysts for the reaction.
