Adding Tools to LimsUI

Once you start using Lims, adding user tools becomes a very useful option for LimsUI.

This tutorial walks you through adding two tools available in Windows to LimsUI:

  1. Editor to open the loaded file. This demonstrates how to feed the current working file into other application.
  2. Command line shell that opens in the current project directory, lists the project files and waits for further commands. This demonstrates how to set the working folder and how to run a command line application from within LimsUI

It shows the necessary steps and how to accomplish them within LimsUI. You need only the files installed with LIMS to run this tutorial. Note that the video is HD and you may prefer to see it in full screen mode.
