Dear 4-H Families and Friends,

Last night was the first leaders meeting back from a June/July recess.  I have uploaded a document that outlines some important announcements that were shared last night regarding upcoming events.  Please watch for additional information on the blog, as it becomes available.

We know that planning an interactive, engaging 4-H program, through a fully virtual platform, is difficult.  While youth and families are trying to enjoy the last days of summer, it can be difficult to get members to connect virtually.  There is no easy answer, and we know here in Kent County, that our leaders are doing their best to keep their 4-H members connected.  We know that difficult circumstances lie ahead with schools returning in different formats, and understand families are facing many challenges.  We are all looking forward to the time when this is all behind us, when the University of Delaware lifts the restrictions, and local 4-H clubs can resume face to face meetings.   We will be grateful for those opportunities that await us all!

As always, please feel free to reach out to Caroline or myself with any questions, comments or concerns you might have.

Stay well.

Your friend in 4-H

Kristin Cook
