Are you interested in rural medicine and applying to Sidney Kimmel Medical College at TJU? Spent a considerable amount of time in small towns and rural settings? Planning to practice in Pennsylvania or Delaware after medical school?

Jefferson’s Physician Shortage Area Program (PSAP) offers an opportunity for recruitment, training, and support of medical students interested in rural practice. While primary care is the greatest area of medical need for rural PA an DE, other specialties will also be considered for PSAP. Priority is given to applicants from PSAP Cooperative undergraduate institutions which includes UD.
